Our team of Subaru enthusiast engineers started with a clean sheet and set out to design the best Subaru engine stand we could. Our goal was to eliminate all the headaches currently associated with working on a horizontally opposed boxer engine. We enlisted the help of professional Subaru mechanic shops during development to ensure we were designing the best Subaru engine stand, bar none.
- CAD designed, patent pending, laser cut, welded in-house in Central WI, USA
- NEW legs are constructed from 1/2-in steelÂ
- NEW thicker gauge tube added durabilityÂ
- NEW additional clearance for installation of flywheel/clutch and use of plastic alignment toolsÂ
- NEW right side mounting plate with additional clearance for EJ stock turbo brackets / turbosÂ
- Mounting plates are made from robust 3/8-in steel plateÂ
- Durable hammer powder coat finishÂ
- Removable left hand brace allows cases to be split with engine on stand Â
- Cutouts allow for complete engine hardware access as well as engine mount accessÂ
- Includes mounting hardware for engine to bolt to standÂ
- Modular design allows compatibility with Company23 Bench Mount, Pedestal Mount, as well as most commercially available engine stand
- Dimensions â Tube is 2.375-in OD, distance from locating ring to center of rotation pin slot is 2.42-in
Engine Case Splitting â On the Stand
The biggest problem we set out to solve was having to move a heavy short block by hand from an engine stand to a workbench to allow a mechanic to split the cases.
