When upgrading the fuel injectors, lines, or fuel rails on your 2002–2007 Subaru WRX or 2007 STI, relocating the fuel pressure regulator (FPR) becomes necessary. Since the OEM regulator is mounted directly to the stock fuel rail, replacing the rails removes the original mounting point.
