KAAZ differentials are designed and engineered to be used in competition motorsports. They are supplied from the factory to react quickly and strongly when it reaches the ex-factory preload (100% Locking). This is ideal for smooth, dry tarmac circuit use.

Favored especially in drifting, a 2.0-way LSD delivers the same lockup characteristics under both acceleration and deceleration. Although this setup isn’t forgiving for street driving, it is preferred for drifting as it eases the car’s ability to break traction under braking.

For some drivers/ conditions, a “softer” setting may be required. There are several ways this can be achieved, but the general option is by reducing the amount of friction surfaces. By re-arranging the order of the plates, various options are available depending on the total number of plates in the differential.
