Each Turn In Concepts shortblock is built to order and tailored specifically to your goals and intended use. Because of this, there are a couple of important points to note:

1. After placing your order, you will receive an email to discuss your current setup and future plans. This ensures your shortblock is configured correctly for your application.

2. Built-to-order construction means there is some lead time before shipping. During the conversation, a more accurate timeline for delivery can be provided

Stage 1 Shortblock Features:

• Ring gaps set using TiC’s extensive Subaru engine experience

Stage 1 shortblocks address the primary limitation of the factory EJ series shortblock, including brittle cast pistons and overly tight ring gaps that restrict performance.

Note: If you are using D25 heads, a slightly thicker head gasket is required due to the smaller combustion chamber. TiC recommends JE .039" head gaskets.
